Hello, Raiders
Summer time is over, and with vacations out of the way, we have been working on a number of new features and fixes. New content takes a while to make for our small team, but we are steadily making progress on some exciting new additions.

New Boost: Cache Basket
Make them eat lead with a side of gunpowder.
Got a new boost for you all, it's one we've been hearing people ask for: ammo regen!

While your Warcry is active with the Cache Basket boost equipped, the team regenerates ammo every second. As a passive effect it also increases your ammo reserves and pickup rates.

More proficiencies are always in the works, remember to suggest any ideas, we love to see them!

Collectable Equipment
A considerable quality of life change to equipment, non-grenade type equipment can now be picked up if you want to throw it again or place a mine somewhere better.

LuaJIT
During our testing, we have identified a funny issue with raid's implementation of LuaJIT. It turns out the JIT compiler was somehow never actually enabled properly. Now we have enabled it, and even updated it, so hopefully you should see some performance improvements with this update.
Be aware, this will inevitably break lua mods until the mod loader is fixed.

RAID turns seven
After the games initial brief lifetime and lengthy hiatus, we celebrate the seventh year since its release and we plan for an exciting next year! We didn't have time to prepare any festivities, but know that we are grateful for everyone who kept with the game. Here's to many more years of raiding.

  • Added the option to disable the Warcry ready popup.
  • Added an interaction timer for big healthkits, to avoid accidentally wasting them when spam interacting.
  • Updated LuaJIT and actually enabled JIT compiling.

  • Fixed the reward screen getting softlocked when earning a cosmetic reward.
  • Fixed a VA mistake on a Rivet officer spotting line.
  • Fixed a VA mistake on a Rivet turret spotting line.
  • Fixed spring mine kills not counting for the "Mine Field" achievement as a client.
  • Fixed incorrect character data on commander backup units.
  • Fixed bug that caused commanders to not lock in the assault properly.
  • Fixed carry item linking issues on vehicles for drop-in clients
  • Fixed misusing static collision for exploded ground decals, they should now be less obtrusive with vehicles.
  • Fixed crash when quitting while some props are waypointed.
  • Fixed crash relating to stored dogtag data in operation stages on older saves.
  • Fixed clients not seeing supply drop beams.

  • Fixed a city outpost sometimes spawning a crowbar in a water tank.
  • Fixed escort bonus not applying double for both spies secured.

    • Adjusted airplane drop timers in the destroyed part of city escape sequence.
  • Bunker Busters
    • Fixed a few boxes that were floating.
  • Forest Convoy
    • Fixed some navigation issues around the escape area.
  • Last Orders
    • Fixed an unobtainable intel file location.
  • Strongpoint
    • Fixed a bad turret spot in the outer areas.
    • Fixed Russian Generals not losing their heads when dismembered.
  • Gold Rush
    • Fixed craters left behind by explosions during the escape sequence having collision.
Weapons
  • Welrod
    • Increased base damage from 85@10m-40@20m to 90@10m-45@20m.
    • Increased base ammo pickup from 3 to 5.
  • Decoy Coin
    • Decoy Coin now triggers a distraction on impact instead of a delay.
    • Decoy Coin can now do 15 damage to enemies if you hit them, with a 3x headshot multiplier.
    • Decoy Coin no longer refill from grenades, but can now be collected off the ground when thrown.
    • Decoy Coin carry total reduced from 9 to 5.
    • Enemies will now pinch your coin when they approach the distraction.
  • S-Mine
    • Can now be collected off the ground when deployed.
Proficiencies
  • New boost: Cache Basket
    • TI During your warcry, you and your team gains 3.5% ammo regeneration per second.
      Increased ammo pickup rate by 12%.
    • TII Warcry ammo regeneration is increased to 4% per second.
    • TIII Warcry ammo regeneration is increased to 4.5% per second.
    • TIV Warcry Ammo regeneration is increased to 5% per second.
      Total ammo is increased by 15%.

  • Pain Train
    • Fixed taking fall damage while charging forcing you into a crouched state.

  • Pack Mule
    • TI Decreased total ammo bonus from 38% to 25%.
    • TII Replaced ammo pickup bonus with +1 equipment capacity.
    • TIV Increased ammo sharing from 13% to 15%.



Mod users; Please check for broken mods!
If your game is not launching and you may have outdated or incompatible mods installed, please be sure to completely uninstall mods if you are having immediate issues!
In your RAID World War II directory remove IPHLPAPI.dll or WSOCK32.dll files by hand, as verifying game cache will not remove these files.
